Rick Johnson is thrilled to be returning to the stage as Jesus in the Majaski Choreography production of Jesus Christ Superstar.   Rick is the Vocal Music Teacher at Sisters High/Middle Schools – directing the choirs, musicals, and teaching the Americana Project songwriting program.  Before moving to Oregon, Rick was a professional actor in theaters in NYC and around the country.  Favorite roles include Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Robin in Robin Hood The Musical.  Rick has college degrees in Musical Theater, Vocal Performance, and Music Ed.  Rick is no stranger to Central Oregon stages.  Recently, he was seen on the Tower stage playing Zach in A Chorus Line.  Other favorite Central Oregon roles include the Emcee in Cabaret, Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, The Leading Player in Pippin, and RiffRaff in The Rocky Horror Show.  Rick is very excited to reprise the role of Jesus in this production.  He played the role in 2005 with 2nd Street Theater.
